Hero moments
So there is nothing honest to put on this page. When there is, it will be here, with the traveller's name on it and their permission to use it.
Why this page is empty. Plenty of products launch with five-star quotes from people who do not exist. It is easy to write and it tests well. It has also been illegal in the United States since 21 October 2024, when the FTC rule on consumer reviews and testimonials took effect, carrying civil penalties in the tens of thousands of dollars per violation for knowing offenders.
We would rather have an empty page than a dishonest one. If we will invent a customer to win your trust, you have no reason to believe the compensation figures we publish either, and those are the numbers that actually matter.
This is a walkthrough of how TripHero handles a cancellation. It is an illustration of the product's behaviour, not a customer story, and no part of it is a quote from a real traveller.
Illustration, not a customer story
An evening flight is canceled for a crew shortage
The plane meant to operate your 8:40 departure is still on the ground two states away. TripHero is watching that tail number, so the risk score climbs before the airline posts anything.
Not "your flight may be delayed" but which aircraft, how late it is, and what that does to your connection. Enough to decide whether to act now or wait.
Every seat that gets you there tonight, across all carriers, plus nearby airports and a drive if it genuinely wins. Sorted by arrival time, not by who sold the ticket.
The specific ask for the specific agent, and whether the phone queue is faster than the desk in front of you.
A cancellation you decline to rebook usually means a cash refund under US rules rather than a voucher. If it happened in Europe a fixed payment may apply on top. See the numbers.
No testimonials required. These come from the regulators, and each one links to the primary source.
The maximum US denied boarding compensation, payable in cash on request when you arrive more than two hours late.
14 CFR 250.5The top EU261 band for a long-haul arrival delay over three hours, per passenger, regardless of what the ticket cost.
EU passenger rightsThe domestic delay that makes a US itinerary significantly changed, so declining it entitles you to a cash refund.

Put in a real flight and see what TripHero sees. If it earns a story, we would like to publish yours.
