Trust & data

Your trip is personal. We treat it that way.

You trust us with itineraries, loyalty numbers, and the people you travel to see. Here's exactly what we do with that - and what we never will.

What we store, and why

Your itineraries (to watch them), your alert preferences (to shape backup plans), your loyalty program numbers (to apply your status when rebooking), and your notify contacts (to text them when plans change). That's the list. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest.

What we never do

We never sell your data. We never share your itinerary with advertisers. We never give partners your loyalty numbers - bookings apply them directly with the airline or hotel. And affiliate partners only ever see an anonymous click, never who you are.

Payments

Card details go straight to a PCI-compliant payment processor - TripHero servers never see or store your full card number.

Location

Location is used only in the moment - to show your nearest airports and live stats. We don't keep a history of where you've been, and you can use every core feature with location off.

Delete means delete

One tap in your account removes your trips, preferences, loyalty numbers, and contacts - permanently, within 30 days, no "are you sure" maze.
